John is in his 70's, but has spent his retirement years skywriting and doing aerobatics in his 1970's single engine plane. Real interesting guy, he offered to give me a ride if the weather hadn't been so crummy. Perhaps I'll conveniently be in the neighborhood once the weather starts getting nice.

Han and Dave
I miss these two a guys. A picture from over summer when they both were squatting at my house. Han is practicing his kongfu and Daves admiring him. Han returned to Beijing in December, I hope to see him this Summer or Fall. David took a job at a paper out in Montana, I possibly will visit him in June, but I'm not sure if I'll make it. Hopefully I can.

Andy Snedden and his flying machine
I'm doing a story for South East Ohio Magazine on this guy who built his own ultra light plane. It's unlike any other plane out there. He completely split from conventional designs, but as a result his plane is lighter than others. This guy is just starting to be recognized for his work. He's currently designing a smaller, more powerful and more efficient engine to be used by the military.
