Hu Kou Waterfall (壶口瀑布)

That's Shaanxi (陕西) province on the other side. Not to be confused with my wonderful province of Shanxi (山西). The difference in pronouncing these provinces is tonal, So don't trouble yourself wondering how to pronounce the double 'a', it's  just to distinguish the two, because to any non-Chinese speaker they would probably sound the same.

I made it to Hukou waterfall (壶口瀑布), which is the most famous of Linfen's attractions because it used to be on the back of the 50 yuan bill. However it wasn't a terribly exciting place; I'm not sure what i was expecting but really it's just this little waterfall in the middle of a mostly dry river bed. I think what makes it so bad is the six hour round trip bus ride through the mountains to get there and back. But I know if I hadn't of gone I would of regretted it so I shouldn't complain too much.
